Two PhD students from the ARC Digital Bioprocess Development Hub have received BioProcessing Network Conference Awards in Brisbane, Australia.

PhD student Nyssa Nair, supervised by Professor Sally Gras and Professor Sandra Kentish from the Department of Chemical Engineering, was awarded best poster for her report on ‘Biocapacitance as an online Process Analytical Technology for monitoring and control of online CHO culture performance’.
Taking out the award for best presentation was PhD student Saumya Karunadhika, supervised by Dr Ling Luo, Professor Uwe Aickelin and Dr Bastian Oetomo from the School of Computing and Information Systems, with her talk on ‘Estimating Membrane Fouling in Single Pass Tangential Flow Filtration for Enhanced Protein Concentration Predictions’.
